Artist Statement
My paintings reflect and become an extension of my impressions and feelings about ordinary, every day subjects. The subject matter sometimes takes on an elusive, mystical quality as a product of an active imagination and being a "dreamer of dreams" which also influences my creativity.
Some subjects become an ongoing series but unique in their presentation through choice of color, texture or the support on which they are painting. Exploring different methods of representing a subject is almost as exciting as the finished product. Some paintings evolve seemingly on the own; I go where they lead me.
Painting requires diligent study of the basics in order to allow the creative intuition to take over.
It is my hope that the viewer experiences my joy in the creation of the art and shares that joy.

REFUND POLICY
There will be no makeup's, refunds or exchanges.
Payment in advance is required and guarantees each participant an assigned art space in the program in which they are enrolled. Therefore, payment for classes, workshops, and all other programs sponsored by Au Courant Art Studio and Gayle Reynolds are non-refundable.
